larger/more domesticated animals: I mean like go ahead as long as you're not hurting them
pet ownership is basically.. just two diff species mutually snuggling and annoying each other... lol

we always roughhouse with one of our cats, we can throw her onto a bed or couch or roll her over
and fluff her belly up or put her in a sweater just fine!! the other is more timid so she'll only tolerate
a little roughhousing from people she reaaaallly trusts (ie.... literally just me rip). I'd consider someone
being rough with her to be abuse because she has serious anxiety and will self mutilate if people get in
her personal space too much.. she is v much a special needs cat though.

honestly I'm in support of heavily supervising young kids with animals as well cause both the child
and the pet can cross the line between roughhousing and actually hurting each other SO FAST.. kids
are so stressful to be around even for humans sometimes LOL

but yeah temporary stress generally =/= abuse

small/flighty prey animals: DO NOT DO THIS PLEASE STRESS IS SO MUCH WORSE FOR THESE GUYS DANG
